A little bright spot in a world of darkness.

About the client

GLINT (www.glintonline.comis an American electronic rock project founded in 2003 by Hudson River Valley native Jase Blankfort. As its main producer, singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist, Blankfort is solely responsible for GLINT’s direction and the only “official” member.

GLINT’s music spans a wide range of genres. The touring band features a selective lineup that rearranges songs to fit a live setting, frequently including longtime collaborator Mateus Tebaldi on drums. GLINT’s performances often incorporate visual accompaniment, including video projections created by Blankfort and various artists.

In 2004, Blankfort and manager Adam Jordan created Rely Records, self- releasing Blankfort’s music while continuously playing the college circuit. Years later in New York, Blankfort would continue to self-produce music, perfecting tracks with Grammy award winning engineer Michael Brauer and more recently multi- platinum producer Steve Osborne.

GLINT was spotlighted by Apple on several occasions including a “Live at SoHo” appearance. Rely Records, with just one artist, uniquely obtained a direct distribution deal with iTunes, selling thousands of GLINT records.

Underground music audiences quickly gravitated to GLINT’s “wall of sound.” The UK Metro said to “catch them in relatively intimate surrounds before the inevitable arenas” and NME said “catch them now before they go stellar.” Billboard Magazine said the band is “air tight and irresistible.”

Blankfort produced several “simultaneously danceable and thought- provoking” (Chicago Tribune) songs in the 2000s that received international attention, including iTunes Discovery Download of the Week in 2010, live appearances on FOX TV, BBC, CBS and Matt Pinfield In The Morning on WRXP, as well as critical acclaim in publications such as Billboard, NME, Artrocker, Grammy Magazine, The UK Metro and The Chicago Tribune.

The ongoing success propelled GLINT to tour Europe; self-booked in 12 countries, 30 shows in 40 days, supporting groups like MGMT and The Airborne Toxic Event. Additional tours and shows followed in the United States, supporting groups like TV On The Radio, BT and Broken Social Scene.

In 2013, GLINT is releasing the most ambitious record to date and is seeking to work with the best.
